Restaurant Operations: Payments, Ownership & General FAQ

As the popularity of Cajun seafood boils continues to skyrocket across the country, many first-time diners have questions about how our restaurants operate on a daily basis. Whether you are wondering about modern payment methods, delivery availability, or holiday operating hours, this comprehensive guide covers the most frequently asked operational questions.

[!NOTE] Important Disclaimer: The information provided below serves as a general guide. Because many of our restaurant locations are independently owned and operated franchises, specific policies regarding payments, reservations, and operating hours can vary significantly from one branch to another. We always recommend verifying details directly with your local restaurant.

Accepted Payment Methods

With the shift toward digital wallets, guests frequently ask about contactless payments at our establishments.

Modern Digital Payments

Most of our modern restaurant locations are equipped to accept digital wallets, including Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Samsung Pay. This allows for a fast, secure, and touch-free checkout experience after your meal. However, because point-of-sale systems can vary between independent franchises, it is always a good idea to bring a physical credit or debit card as a backup.

Electronic Benefit Transfer (EBT)

We operate exclusively as full-service, sit-down dining establishments. As a result, our restaurants generally do not accept EBT cards as a valid form of payment. EBT is typically reserved for grocery stores and specific, state-approved fast-food locations.

Planning Your Visit

A successful seafood feast requires a bit of planning, especially if you are bringing a large group.

The Reservation Policy

Because of the highly casual and fast-paced nature of seafood boils, the vast majority of our locations operate strictly on a first-come, first-served basis. During peak weekend dinner rushes, wait times can build up.

However, some branch managers do make exceptions and accept reservations for exceptionally large parties (usually groups of eight or more). If you are planning a birthday dinner or a corporate outing, we highly recommend calling the restaurant at least 24 hours in advance to see if they can accommodate your group.

Enjoying Seafood at Home

If you prefer to enjoy a messy, spicy boil from the comfort of your own dining room, you are in luck! Our restaurants partner extensively with major third-party delivery platforms. You can easily find your local branch on apps like DoorDash, Uber Eats, and Grubhub to have your favorite combo platters delivered straight to your door.

Holiday Operating Hours

Cajun seafood is a fantastic alternative to traditional holiday meals, so our branches are often quite busy during festive seasons. While most locations remain open on major holidays like Thanksgiving and Christmas Eve, they almost always operate under reduced holiday hours. To avoid disappointment, check our directory or call ahead during the holiday season.

Brand Background and Ownership

The brand has grown rapidly through a highly successful mix of corporate-owned locations and independent franchises. It is managed by a central corporate team based in Florida, which oversees the menu development and the distribution of our proprietary signature seasoning blends.

While the corporate entity itself is a privately held corporation, the franchise model has allowed a diverse group of independent entrepreneurs from all backgrounds to own and operate successful branches within their own local communities. We pride ourselves on creating an inclusive, family-friendly environment for both our staff and our guests.
