Dining with Little Ones: A Guide to Our Kids' Menu

Dining with Little Ones: A Guide to Our Kids' Menu

A massive Cajun seafood boil is a fantastic experience for adults, but we know that convincing a young child to crack open a spicy crab leg can sometimes be a challenge. That is exactly why we have designed our restaurants to be entirely family-friendly. We want parents to be able to enjoy their intensely flavorful, messy feast without worrying about what their kids are going to eat.

Our dedicated children’s menu is specifically tailored to please picky eaters, offering a mix of familiar comfort foods and mild seafood introductions.

Classic Comfort Favorites

Sometimes, kids just want what they know. For the ultimate picky eaters who aren’t quite ready to dive into the seafood world, we offer several tried-and-true classics.

Crispy Chicken Tenders

A universal favorite. Our chicken tenders are heavily breaded, fried to a perfect golden brown crunch, and served with a generous portion of our seasoned french fries. They are entirely mild and perfect for dipping in ketchup or ranch dressing.

Mozzarella Sticks

If your child prefers a cheesy option, our mozzarella sticks are a massive hit. Crispy on the outside and perfectly gooey on the inside, this basket is highly shareable (though we doubt they will want to share).

Introducing Seafood to Kids

If you want to encourage your little ones to branch out, our kids’ menu offers several excellent gateway options. These meals introduce the flavors and textures of seafood without the overwhelming spices or the work of cracking shells.

The Fried Shrimp Basket

This is an excellent entry point. We take plump, bite-sized shrimp, coat them in a light, mild batter, and fry them until crispy. There is no peeling required, making them incredibly easy for younger kids to eat. Like all our kids’ meals, this basket is paired with a side of fries.

The Catfish Basket

For an incredibly mild and tender option, the catfish is a great choice. The meat is very soft and flaky, and the batter provides a great crunch without any Cajun heat. It’s a very accessible way for children to enjoy a fish dinner.

Tips for a Great Family Dinner

Dining at a boil-style restaurant is inherently fun for kids because it breaks all the traditional rules of eating at a table. Here are a few ways to make the experience even better:

  • Embrace the Mess: Kids absolutely love the fact that they are encouraged to eat with their hands and wear a plastic bib. Lean into the fun!
  • Share the Sides: Even if your child orders from the kids’ menu, the sides from your boil bag—like sweet corn on the cob and boiled red potatoes—are usually huge hits with younger diners.
  • Ask for Mild Sauce: If your child is curious about your food, ask your server for a small side of pure Garlic Butter (no spice). It’s a great, safe way for them to try dipping a piece of crab or shrimp.

We love seeing families gather around our tables, and our staff goes out of their way to ensure that our youngest guests leave just as happy and full as their parents.
